I finished playing “Shop Your Stash” lip product challenge back in mid April, but I’ve been very busy since moving out to the desert and have also been spending a lot of time writing so Youtube and my blog have taken a backseat. I was hoping to shoot some videos a couple weeks ago when I had time…and then my AC broke..in the desert…for 7 days…and every day was 107+ degrees…god why? I figured I’d post this anyway – better late than never.

Today I’m going to talk about my collection of NYX round lipsticks. I did an overall review of these lipsticks years ago (video will be below for anyone who wants to see the original review), but since then I have acquired many additional shades and so I am going to provide an overview on some of the individual shades I own and what I think of them.
NYX Round Lipsticks: from left to right are Golden Luster, Iris, Orange Soda, Indian Pink, Peach Bellini, Chloe, Castle, Medusa, and Snow White.
I’ve previously reviewed the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams on my YouTube Channel, but I think it’d be good idea to review them here with good close-up pictures of swatches. I also have a few more shades than I did when I made my original review.
NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams. In Order: Buenos Aires, Antwerp, Morocco, & Monte Carlo
My favorite matte lipstick would have to be the Wet n’ Wild Mega Last Lip Colors. They’re found in any local drugstore, but in my honest opinion feel even nicer then a lot of high-end matte lipsticks I’ve tried. Wet n’ Wild describes them as being semi-matte but in my experience after about 10-20 minutes of wear the shine eventually fades and you’re left with a perfectly smooth matte finish. I originally reviewed these lipsticks about 3 years ago.
