The Urban Decay Electric palette is one of my favorite palettes these days. It’s $49; and so far seems to be a permanent palette. The colors are all SUPER pigmented and I love every single shade in this palette.
The Urban Decay Electric palette is not for people who like neutral makeup. If you don’t like bright, or downright NEON colors, you probably won’t be interested in this post.
Revolt: is the only color that I feel does not belong in this palette. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a pretty silver; very pigmented, and very shimmery, but it just seems out of place with the rest of the colors.
Gonzo: is a jewel-tone blue. And yes, it does look like the same blue as Gonzo. In the palette it looks like it might have a subtle shimmer, but as you can see in swatch it goes on completely matte.
Slowburn: is a neon orange, with a super subtle shimmer. You can honestly only see that its got a subtle shimmer if you look very closely. This color is very pigmented.
Savage: is a neon matte pink. It’s very pigmented and smooth. I’ve had bad experiences with neon pinks in the past leaning a little chalky but that isn’t at all the case with Savage.
Fringe: is a shimmer deep teal shade.
Chaos: is a matte royal blue.
Jilted: is a dark pink with a purple sheen. Kind of like Mac Stars and Rockets/Pink Pearl, but a tad darker and WAY more pigmented.
Urban: is a deep purple shimmer with a super subtle pink sheen to it. You can only see the pink sheen in certain light and angles so it’s not very obvious, but it is beautiful.
Freak: is a slightly shimmery mid-tone green.
Thrash: is a warm chartreuse green that I would mostly call matte, but as with Slowburn there might be a super subtle, barely there shimmer, that for most people is probably hard to notice.
All of these colors are super pigmented and VERY bright. Not for the feint of heart. If you like bold makeup I highly recommend the Urban Decay Electric Palette.
